SSAT is one of two admissions test commonly used at American private schools.

The other test is the Independent School Entrance Examination ("ISEE").

In addition, the SSAT test can begin the process of learning how to effectively sit for the ACT and SAT tests with age appropriate material.

Like many types of standardized tests the SSAT measures the aptitude of the student in these areas;

SSAT Sample Questions

Verbal questions your vocabulary, verbal reasoning, and ability to logically relate ideas.

Math requires the student to solve problems in the areas of arithmetic, geometry, elementary algebra, and general number concepts.

Score scaling occurs separately for grades 5-7 and grades 8-11
